This Privacy Policy explains how NeuralLight (OPC) Private Limited (“NeuralLight”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit neurallight.in, contact us, buy a digital product, hire our services or rent equipment. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Data we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, company name and the project, shoot or rental details you share with us by WhatsApp, phone, email or on this website.
  • Order and billing information: when you buy a digital product, your name, email, billing address and GST details (if provided), and a record of what you bought.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not see or store your full card, UPI or bank details.
  • Equipment rental verification: a government-issued ID and contact details of the person responsible for the equipment.
  • Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, referral source and actions such as sending the contact form or tapping a WhatsApp button, collected through cookies and Google Analytics.

2. How we use your data

  • To reply to enquiries and prepare quotes.
  • To deliver services, digital products and equipment rentals you have asked for.
  • To process payments, issue invoices and meet tax and accounting obligations.
  • To verify identity and protect our equipment for rentals.
  • To send you updates about products or launches you have asked to hear about. You can opt out at any time.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it.
  • To comply with the law and protect our legal rights.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, or for legitimate uses permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, such as fulfilling a service you requested or complying with the law.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

  • Website hosting (Hostinger)
  • Payment processing (Razorpay)
  • Analytics (Google)
  • Messaging and email (for example WhatsApp and our email provider)
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers
  • Government or law-enforcement authorities when required by law

Some of these providers may process data outside India. Where they do, we rely on their safeguards and on transfers permitted under Indian law.

4. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law (for example, invoices and tax records). Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted or anonymised within 24 months.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • erase it, where we no longer need it or you withdraw consent;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing that already happened);
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the website and store to work (for example, keeping items in your cart), and Google Analytics cookies that help us understand visits. Google Analytics gives us summary reports, such as how many people visited a page or sent an enquiry; we do not use it to identify you. Your choice of light or dark mode is saved only in your own browser.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or stop Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Some parts of the site may not work properly without cookies. Learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Our website and products are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.
